About Michael Ross
Michael Ross (he/him/his) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist currently practicing in the Larchmont Village and Pasadena areas of Los Angeles, CA. Before becoming a therapist, Michael spent decades as a creative professional in the fields of design and entertainment. He has been married since 2004, and has a passion for working with adult individuals, couples, and creative clients.
Approach & Modalities
Michael’s work is relational, collaborative and client-centered. He is informed by principles integrated from Gestalt, humanistic, narrative, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed perspectives. Michael believes that you as the client are the expert of your own life, and his role as a clinician is to get into alignment with your own innate desire to grow and heal.
Michael is trained in EMDR (Parts I & II), the Community Resiliency Model (CRM) and Gangs: A Therapeutic Education (G.A.T.E). He is currently seeing individuals, couples, and families in the Miracle Mile / Larchmont area of Los Angeles.
